Spent last week down due to acute bronchitis and a fever that spiked at a 105! But I am back to normal this week and have hit the gym everyday but tuesday and today. Hit spin class on thursday and it felt Amazing!
Now for today and tomorrow - 30 hour famine! 12:30pm today - 6pm Saturday no food and a lockin with the youth. CRAZY I know, but alot of fun and very moving God moments.
Wish me luck.
I am a mom with PCOS who likes to workout. I have two boys one with ADHD and AUDHD. An adult daughter that keeps me sane and another adult son who lives out of state.

Great way to start a Week
So my workout buddy and I have been taking spinning class at 6 am thursday mornings for months now and this week we decided to add more in. So 5:30 Monday morning found us at the gym putting on our spin shorts and work out clothes. Tired from the superbowl party the night before, but none the less ready to kick the week into the right gear.
Different instructor, different workout, still feels GREAT! So Great we are going back tomorrow morning. BEST work out EVER.
Just to put it into perspective for 50 minutes of good music, heart pumping intensity, a dark room, and a buddy to keep me accountable this is what I get:
Stationary bicycle / spinning - vigorous 1,096
Stationary bicycle / spinning - moderate 676

Starting Over
OK - I'm back in the saddle. After months of stomache issues we finally have everything figured out: I have hypothyroidism, IBS, and PCOS. Know of which I'm willing to use as an excuse. But knowing the problems it is easier to do something about it. I'm on medicine for the thyroid, I stopped drinking all pop (soda) and that has helped tramediously with the IBS and I am watching for which foods set me off. The thyroid and my regular doctor I helping with the PCOS with diet and possible medicine.
This is a marathon not a sprint - with this montra I know I can keep from getting too frustrated. I have a buddy who works out with me everyday and we hold each other accountable. My roommate is going on the low-carb diet my doctor recommended with me and I know that will be a tremedous help. Then I know I have all of you to support me and lift me up. You have all been with me on this journey and I appreciate all your support.
