I have been posting to my facebook page regularly, but not blogging. I will be better about that.
I have recently started two new journeys-
1. The 90 day contentment journel (#contentmentchallenge) by Rachel Cruze. I use to write All The Time, but as I left college got out of the habit. I am happy to have this promt guided journal to get going again. 14 days in and I hadn't missed a day, but sometimes thishs dont fo as planned - my son got another ear infection with a high fever. We were lucky if we got an hour sleep on Saturday and 4 or 5 on Sunday - thankfully going into Monday we got a full night. And I was able to journal again today.
2. Transform 20 42 day work out with ShaunT that as part of the tracker also asks you to transform your mind as well as your body. It asks you to write about your struggles and how you conquered them. Today was day 16 of 42. Same reason as before I missed a workout, but just 1! Since I had my son this is the first time that missing a day hasn't caused a bigger slip. And if nap time allows I am thinking about doing workout #2 to be back on the right day!!
Not as planned - journaling, working out - both going well. The number on the scale? Not so much I am bouncing around 305-312.
Since starting Transform 20:
I am up 1.25" and up 1.5lbs
Since my last post in Nov:
I am down 8" and up 0.4lbs.
Yes I am working with my doctor. Any encouragement or things that have worked for you I would appreciate.
I am a mom with PCOS who likes to workout. I have two boys one with ADHD and AUDHD. An adult daughter that keeps me sane and another adult son who lives out of state.

Day 1 with starting stats
Well today started extra early and with some help. My 2 year old decided 4:15 was a great time to start our day (I had planned on 5!).
Well if you are up you might as well get going. He wasn't sure he liked the work out thing so a 30 min workout turned into more like 45. Its hard to squat with weights with a 2 year old wrapped around your leg.
This is a great example for him and he will get use to moms routinely. Or maybe some days will sleep so mommy can just focus on the workout - I can hope for Sunday here or there.
So today we hit the ground running with 21 day fix extreme "plyo fix extreme".
I have snacks packed and we have dinner in the crock pot. I am already feeling this workout! But it is a great feeling to have back. As promised below you will see my starting stats and a picture with my workout buddy this morning.

Eating better, now exercise
So here we go. I've got my eating better and ready to follow a plan and now I'm ready to add the exercise back.
Starting Monday I'm going to start 21 day fix extreme. I have done the 21 day fix program a couple times and love it. Starting with extreme will be difficult but I know I need something new to get back in the habit of working out each and every day.
Monday I will take weight and measurements and I am going to post. Why because I need to be held accountable. I might not post daily, but I will post a weekly status for sure.
I am no longer a beach body coach, but I love all the different workouts. They are easy for me to do where ever I am with beach body on demand and also opens up all the programs. If you are interested after following me I can pass on my coaches information to get you started.
The picture below is from this past Thursday, so most recent, with my mom who has told me.she will hold me accountable.
I also ask if you are a praying person please keep me and this journey in your prayers. I have been on this journey a long time and it has a lot of up and downs, but I need to make it happen.

Back, again
Wow it's been a long time since I last posted. I've completed a total of 6 1/2 marathons and I have a son who is almost 2 years old.
My weight is still a struggle, but I am taking it one day at a time. It can be very over whelming when I look at how far I still have to go. But you can't eat an elephant in one bite, it is only achieved one small bite at a time.
So my first focused is what I am eating. The second focus is working out. Each day trying to get in something, even it it is just one set of push ups.
I have been using Le-vel Thrive for 2 weeks weeks now - the energy level I have is like night and day. Which was something I was really struggling with.
So for now I am a few weeks shy of my sons 2nd birthday and I am down 50.6 pounds since that morning. This week the goal is just one more pound and the week after that is one more pound.

35 days till next 1/2
AAAAHHHHH!!!! How does the time always sneak up on me - I signed up with there was over 150 days left this should not be a surprise!
Well at least between the space coast 1/2 marathon and this one I did not stop training. I focused more on the cross training with 21 day fix and p90x3 and distance walking on Saturdays. However now it is crunch time. So last night I got in a 3 mile trainer and Saturday I will go for distance.
I had reached out to the ladies of Mom's Run this town (#MRTT) about my speed. The walking just wasn't seeing great improvements like I wanted. They encouraged me to go back to my intervals. I wasn't sure, but I did it last night just to see what kind of difference it would make. Yeah ok it made a huge difference! My average pace per mile (which I need to be at 16) went down to 17:08 from 18:28 +. My only issue? That was only 3 miles and I was tired!! Can I do that for 10 more miles?
Well we are going to see what happens on Saturday for the longer distance. I thank all the ladies in the #mrtt who are always there to support me, answer questions and even suggest meeting up to run together. It is great to belong to another group of women who know how to lift each other up and not put them down to lift themselves up.
We are all at different speeds and places along our journeys. We all have our stories and our dreams. Together we are helping each other over come and reach those dreams.

Day 45, Day 30 going strong
No worries, no excuses still going strong here!
For those that have been following me you know that I started counting my workout streak from the day of my 1/2 marathon - that means I am on day 45 of this streak. So what is the day 30 all about?
I'm glad you asked! Yesterday was day 30 of p90x3 round 1. I am 3 days in to week 5. For the next three weeks it is mostly new workouts with a few goodies still there - like today's yoga! Love the yoga!! My legs are still tight after yesterdays tricometrics and today's yoga helped stretch them back out.
I am seeing progress at this 30 day bench mark. Not as quite as fast as others and I had to remind myself yesterday that I am not everyone else. My journey is not theirs and we all have our struggles. Clothes are fitting better. The scale is down and inches are coming off. I am starting to see tiny definition in my muscles - which is really cool!
My eating plan has been smack on and I love how that makes me feel.
Remember even if it is a baby step it is still a step! It counts. Just like in my running how I've learned to be ok with my speed (ok I need to get 2 min faster, but that is because of a races time requirement not me) I need to be ok with my weight loss speed. That is my focus for this week.

Some times you face disappointments
Kinda dissapointed - was planning on getting in 9 miles this morning but was only able to do 6. I had to remind myself it is not race day and it would not do good to get hurt now, and yes I was at the point that if I pushed I believe it would have knocked me out of working out for at least the next week.
I have 39 days until the Disney Princess 1/2 marathon weekend. As I realized in the last mile that I wasn't going to be able push through for the 9 I made a plan that I will start working shorter walks back into my schedule. I have to keep up with my p90x3 for the weight loss though too - so it will be a boot camp of sorts for the next 39 days!
I am going to get the p90x3 yoga in later today and maybe even those last three miles.
Here are two quotes I like to remind myself of:
"It is not how many times you get knocked down, but how many times you get back up." - Vince Lombardi
"Shoot for the mood. Even if you miss you will land among the stars." Brian Littrell
Happy Saturday! !
For those keeping track - this is day number 41 of the workout streak.
