Still struggling, but coming to accept reality
I have to always be on a low carb diet - that sucks! Oh well if I would like to lose weight then I need to eat low carb and keep my workouts going.
I am now lifting 3 days a week and running 3 days a week. With my long run up to 7.5 miles for my half marathon training. I am so excited to be training for this bucket list item.

Bad blogger!
I've been a bad blogger, not so good at keeping this up. Isn't that how it goes though? You start something new, things are going great - easy to write about it. Been trecking along, not seeing results - not really what you want to share.
However! Lets look at the positive: 1) I haven't given up 2)I have finally started taking something all natural meant just for PCOS (glucorein http://pinterest.com/pin/479633429034907538/) I've noticed a change in my energy levels and tomorrow will be only the first week. 3)This past Saturday I ran my 13th 5k!!!! 4)I have to sign up, but plan on running (jog/walk) a 10k with my best friend!! A step in the right direction to checking off my 13.1 mile bucket list item! 5) I've found two knew work outs that are short, simple, and have me actually doing toning/resistance exercises. I'm posting them below so that I can find them easier - feel free to try them, I am loving them.

Cheating? ...
Nope! I don't feel like cheating on this diet at all. Everyonce in awhile the smell of fresh cooked bread at a restaurant is inticing, but I just enjoy the smell and move on. At first I missed noddles, then I found I wasn't missing them, and now ... I've found Shiratki noodles! Soy (tofu) noodles. Love them and they don't give me that heavy feeling.
I have been on the Atkins diet since July 25. I've had some ups and downs, but nothing like anything I've tried before. I have way more downs and I am keeping it off, even during the difficult weeks. I'm so excited to see something finally working and can't wait to see what else is there is for me as I progress.
Happy Friday

Not long now ...
One month and 5 days to be exact until I run my next 5k, another Disney 5k. I haven't been training like I have for past Disney runs, I need to get in gear. I know the weight loss that I had achieved before the last run made a huge difference in my time and in my recovery time. I am excited to see what this run has to bring, since I've lost even more and have great hope that I will weigh even less in one month and 5 days.
This week has been difficult to stay on Atkins as I was sick on Monday and Tuesday - this week might be a gain, but it's barely a bump in the road for me. In the past "diets" where I gained weight would make it hard to stay focused and on plan, this time I know it works and I know the reason for the gain and can easily adjust and fix.
Moving forward one step at a time to a healthier me!

Crazy!
Ok today is 66 days on Atkins and I can't believe it - it is still working. This is the first "diet" I've been on where it is consistently losing weight. NO yoyoing! I have a ways to go still, but it gets easier to stay on track with you see progress every week.
